newbie trouble shooting

ok 1993 4.0 yj automatic

if you dont mind nned some jeep advice
I do not know any one with jeep wranglers so i want to ask you all for some advice

1.. first there is a wierd gurgling noise under under the 4x4 shifter dont1know how to explain it its not real loud you can only hear it at low speed
I thought it was the dohnut gasket from exhaust I replaced it but it still has sound
Muffler shop said my manifold might be cracked but dont really hear any tick from engine
2..It has a little rough idle I gave it a complete tune up but still idle rough Changed everything but the coil
3..when you get on the gas hard it has some vibration and a kind of high pitch noise when rpm start getting high
also when idle it has a little whistle noise

I know I through up alot but thanks in advance for any help

Rough idle and a whistle noise sounds like a vacuum leak.

I would bet that the manifold is cracked. look where all the tubes join to one. the whistle can come from a worn throtle body. rough idle clean the IAC, and throtle body. never hurts to check for vacuum leaks.

Your vibration could be from a bad u-joint...

idle air controle. located on the side of the throtle body between TB and valve cover.

remove it and clean it with electronic cleaner or something made for sensors, do not use carb cleaner it will damage the plastic etc in the IAC
