it seams like regearing may cost more but more easier and keeps everything with in range of mfg specs

drive shaft and trany should all be ok with regearing no change out or upgrades needed

yes, re gearing is very expensive. but it is also very worth it. 33s on stock gearing with the 2.5 is a bit of a dog to drive, upping to proper gears will make it more drive able, and keep you from luggin the engine and such

tranny will be fine. t-case will need the new speedo gear. and depending on how much lift you are running, you will want to consider a SYE and new rear driveshaft. may not need to worry about it at first, but it should be done eventually

depends on the area you are in. best advice i can give you on price is get quotes from the shops around you, and compare them all.

dont just go with the cheapest shop just because its cheap. your gears are not something you want messed up.
