no power to 93 yj fuel pump.

Ok so I have a 93 yj 4.0 5 speed. Drove the jeep all day. Started perfect ran perfect. Cut it off and my grandmothers. Went to start it and it wouldn't. Heard fuel pump not kicking on. So checked relays and fuses no change so hell I ran my ass down to the parts store and picked me up and bran new one. Well its not kicking on. Read everywhere on here and nothing is helping me. Checked ground good. Ran a jumper wire to pump not kicking on. But when I put it directly to battery both + and - whew does it pump. I've read about crank sensors corrosion on wires etc. Nothing like that is going on with it. I don't have a tester to see if relay box is getting power but everything else is working fine. I'm loosing my mind here its my only vehicle and I'm stuck 3 hours away from my house.

Did you swap out the pump relay with the horn relay? If not try and see what it does. Also how did you check the fuses? Sometimes fuses can look good but if you put a multimeter on them you can see they are bad.

I swapped every relay around. And fuses I keep a box of them swapped it out twice with same size and then put a 60 amp in it. Nothing. If I'm getting spark and I can't find problem by lunch time tomorrow its safe to say ima toggle switch it.

That should work! But don't forget to turn it off when your not driving. But if you've done all that and the fuses are receiving battery voltage, then you have a problem in your wiring. Just have to find it.

I'm about to mess with it again. Bout to see if getting spark. If I am going to trace down wires. If I can't find a break or corrosion it will be on a toggle with a fuse between power source.

could be cam position sensor inside the distributor, or the ignition coil

i had the same issues after pulling and rebuilding my motor. the cam sensor was the cause of my no spark. there's a ground near e-brake pedal bracket that was the cause of my fuel pump not having power

Your right this is just a forum people can suggest and hint you towards anything. Your the one that needs to put in the man hours. Sorry you didn't find an Internet mechanic that fixes Jeeps. I'm sure if there was one he would be one BAMF! Good luck with finding out how much a possible simple fix will cost you.
