no spark...94 yj 2.5 5spd

hi guys!
ok heres the whole story and all its symptoms...! i live in western mass. its been one hell of a cold year. we all kno our jeeps hate the cold! when its real cold..like -10 i quit trying.. sounded like fuel pump just clicking.. but when 5 or above it will start... seems to be NOT getting fuel ..i just have to keep priming the fuel pump.. ie turning acc on and off a few times. take a few tries but she will fire.. 2 days ago it took a few more than normal..omw back from lunch it just died while driving. a friend (also jeep owner) said i bet you killed your fuel pump..so today i installed new fuel pump and filter..now no spark...only have limited time like need to fix it tomorrow..its my dd..batterie is good..just need a piont in the right direction!! you guys ARE the BEST! tyavm!

it may sound stupid but had kinda the same thing happen to me, turned out I had bad fuel had water in it, but that could be unlikely

or also could be the coil going bad, had that problem happen too check plug wires but I would lean towards the coil since that helps it spark

alright no problem if that don't help let me know and I'll look some stuff up in my Haynes repair manual it may help find the problem if that don't fix it, I would also check the distributor cap for any moisture or cracks that will affect it like no other thought of a other thing as well, if you look at the cap you might as well check the little rotor in the top of the distributor that may be going bad too but I don't think that would cause it to die, I know when my coil went out on my truck it caused it to not wanna start and it died on my going up the highway
