No spark in my 88 yj HELP!! :(

So I had woke up and went to get a hair cut and went to start my baby but it just cranked and cranked. 1988 6cyl 4.2L automatic to clarify
So I know I have fuel and I upgraded my carb to the motorcraft 2150 also did the nutter bypass and it ran great for about 2 to 3 weeks now this. So I started to check for spark and I got none! Not at the distributor not at the ignition coil either. I even tried to hook up a jumper wire from the battery to the coil to see if maybe that gave it power but nothing, Just cranks over and over. I went to autozone and bought a new ignition coil due to some other threads I read but that didnt help.
So Iv been doing alot of reading and im guessing I narrowed my problem down, I think?? Ignition control module under the washer fluid?? or computer?? but those are just some guesses I dont want to throw money at my baby and expect it to eventually get fixed? Any ideas ?? can someone help please???

If your Ignition Control Module is still there and connected that's what it is. It will cost approx. $70. 99% of the time that's what it is. It's also good to replace the coil. It's not expensive and now you'll have a new coil and ICM and be on your way.

since you nuttered it, the computer is out of the ignition loop

double check your splices from the nutter, then go for the ICM

+1...But don't waste money on a new one only to burn out 8 months from now.Spend the cash on a HEI distributor and rid the motorcraft ICM out of the loop...1 hot wire to the distributor and never look back.
