Not starting

Went to the car this morning and and tried to start my jeep and I got nothing. The engine cranks, the fuel pump comes on but still wouldn't start. I opend up the hood and tested for spark and what do you know, no spark. There is no power coming out of the coil at all. Change everything last year such as cps, optima battery, distributor, distributor cap, spark plug, wires, rotor. So my question is why isn't the coil cranking out any juice?

thank mike

To clarify.. did you try to jump start the jeep with a car? Or is the car the jeep? How old is the coil? Is everything hooked up, perhaps a bad connection or bad ground someplace.

Happened to me last winter. Same symptons- replaced just about everything. My PCM was bad... cleaned the terminals and it started, once. After that it wouldn't again...Bought a new one on ebay, and wallah. (Mine is a 94 2.5L 5 speed, and this computer is located on the engine side firewall, behind the washer fluid resevoir.)
