Im having a bad problem with blow by, my jeep is a 1990 with 85000 miles, i have been getting lots of oil to the air filter, like the pcv valve isn't doing a good enough job even though it's brand new, ive read that i could usetwo pcv valves, one in rear and one in front, and a breather in the oil fill hole. So i have done this and it masked the problem. But my engine is more sluggish now. Probably from sucking in more oil than usual.

I hear this is caused by oil rings going bad, and also that i normally would have to have a rebuild.

Ive seen ring kits but i hear there's some honing that should be done. Which I can't do. Because im pretty darn broke.

Well is there any kind of budget fix for this?

(Rebuilds and swaps are not budget for me)

You have the pcv valve hooked to full manifold vaccuum, correct? It shouldn't be routed directly to your air cleaner.

yes the pcv is to manifold vac. I now have 2 pcv valve going to manifold vac and a breather in the oil filler hole.

that only masked the problem...
