Oil seal dana 30 axle!

Few months back I put the seal on the pass side what a pain! Today I noticed Gear oil on the driver side. The question I have is does that side have a c clip as well I'm sure it does but figured I would ask. Also any tips to get the job done a little faster? Thank all!

Im curious myself... my passenger side started to leak after we swapped the U-joints in the front shafts.

Ok got the seal out but I took the ring gear and carrier out to remove it. Any advice on getting the gear back in?

Just make sure you put back like you took it apart. Did you have any shims?

As long as you didnt mess with the pinion, you wont need to do anything but put the carrier back in and tighten it down. The pinion is where the preload is set. And where the spacing shims are put.
