OME leaf spring bushings

When I ordered some bushings for my rear leaf springs it says 1 kit per spring so i ordered 2 kitsI got it in today and now I am confused. It comes with 6 bushings and one sleeve. I put bushings in the front and back of each spring. Do I have to purchase another sleeve separately?

I ordered the daystar kit and it came with 4 bushings, 2 sleeves, and some poly grease. Not sure why you got what you got.

I looked at the OME kit and it looks like it has 6 total bushings one spacer as you described. I imagine you get 2 bushings per spring end and two for the top bolts of the shackle. Not sure where they want that sleeve but my guess would be where the shackle mounts to the frame. Looks like they only sent one kit.

Yea it don't make much sense to me. Maybe I should send these back and order something else. Where did your order your daystar from? I have Ome springs.

Call whoever you ordered from and figure out what's going on. If your not happy with the outcome send back your OME bushings and go with something else.

all spring eye bushings are not the same size, be sure to measure and get the correct ones.

The bushings fit perfect. I don't understand why there is only one sleeve in each kit. Am I right there should be a sleeve through the bushings both front and back?

How do the bolts fit? If you have two that are snug in the bushings and one that's slightly smaller that would point to the one that needs the bushings.

I just got off the phone with them and received and email. Their response:

INCLUDES SLEEVE FOR MAIN EYE BUSHING- REUESES ORIGINAL SLEEVE ON SHACKLE END
IF YOU NEED SHACKLE SLEEVE, ADD PART 56005 9000 9/26/12"

You are suppose to use the factory sleeve on one end of the spring.

They told me on the phone to press the old sleeve out and reuse it. I don't have time to be sending these back and reorder something else. I have some sleeve material in the shop to use.

I don't recommend this kit to anyone. Why would you buy new stuff then have use some of the old things tot make it work.

No big deal on pressing the OE sleeve out, only took a couple of minutes.

I pressed the old ones out but they had a little wear in them. I made some new ones. It's all bolted up now. The 8.8 is in place and about to weld it up.
