Hi, please help me decide, have to buy a 2" lift kit for my 95 wrangler yj. Looking for a daily driver quality ride. I have heard real good comments about both kits, more of OME than BDS , price on OME (old man emu) $1000 , BDS $722 dlls. Seems like a no brainer but ... i want to read your very valuable opinion if you have any of these kits installed. Please help and post only for YJ.

DO YOU HAVE OME OR BDS?

SPRINGS: BDS OR OME
SHOCKS: ANY

HOW CAN YOU DESCRIBE THE QUALITY OF YOUR RIDE? (stiff, flexes, bone wreking, like a tj, better than stock yj, night an day, other etc.)

PROS:

CONS:

WHOULD BUY AGAIN?

I have the 2"BDS and have ridden in a yj with OME. the OME springs have a better ride than BDS but I have heard that they will sag after a few years. my BDS springs are around 6 years old and are still a full 2" and sits level.

I have only stock suspension and OME to compare to. I have the 2.5" OME Springs & Bushings, Factory Shackles, 2" Lift BDS Shocks, OME TC Drop Kit. Pieced together my kit was right around $700 and I am EXTREMELY happy with it. Flex is amazing. Ride Quality is 1,000,000% better than stock. Would I buy again? Yes!
