Painless wiring kit yj

I'm looking at this kit http://www.painlessperformance.com/webcat/10111 but I have a 95 yj but I'm running a carberated motor so I'm just wondering if I could use this setup it would make it a lot easier..

I would look for a used 1987 to 1991 underhood and underdash wiring harness.
The two harnesses should be a whole lot less expensive than $900.00 for the painless harness.
Check out:
J&W Auto Wreckers in Antelope CA.
or
Jeeps Unlimited in Erie CO

I'm sure there are a bunch of others that will have what you need. Hopefully other posters will chime in with other Jeep oriented salvage yards.

Good Luck, L.M.

1990 was the last year for factory carbed motors...I also recently found that they changed the door and ignition key type in 91 too...I think that is the 1st year Chrysler started putting there mark on the Jeep brand...I know they bought them a few years earlier but I thing they were mostly runing thru AMC parts those 1st couple years...

If your running a carb. and a H.E.I. dizz. then you don't even need the part that goes to the 1990 ICM an all, just the under dash, the engine only needs a few wires like an old CJ and your good to go.

Correct me if I'm wrong guys bit it looks like the engine part just unplugs from the harness then I can just cut the wires I don't need and plug it back up with the sensor wires
