Parking Brake Light stays on!

My parking light brake stays on and I don't know why. I recently got the recall done at the dealership, and it works fine, but all of a sudden it stayed on one day after I lifted it. Now it's always on.

Any idea why this is? I'm new to Jeeps and don't know what to look for.

Thanks for any help in advance!

MIcah

Look at the switch on the parking brake lever. It is a ground, you can reshape the way it works and it should be fine.

Mine does the opposite, NO PARKING brake at all. I think it had it before I moved to the MC2100. According to the instructions I got I was to disconnect the wire to the ecu and have the ignition unit provide the voltage to the distributer. SO I think I removed the computer from the equation?/?? Maybe the sensor for the parking brake is in the ecu sequence?

Mine does that exact same thing. I too had the dealer "fix" it and it worked for about two weeks and it stays on now forever. There is a sensore switch on the back of the e-brake arm it has something to do with that. Haven't figured out how to fix it yet myself.
