Perplexing Predicament

So my 4.2 engine exploded. I purchased a 1999 WJ engine with all the schtuff needed to make it run. However, I have the AX 15 on my yj. Does anyone know if there is a wj flywheel or if the xj 4.0 flywheel fits onto and balances properly to the wj engine? I should have thought about this sooner

I might be wrong about this, I was sure that the flywheel was specific to the transmission. what trans was on the WJ.

Haha its an automatic. I just want to make sure this clutch would fit the Tranny. The Wj didn't have a manual Tranny...in this country. Florida has the flywheel and clutch. I just didn't know if That stuff is only needed to mate to the engine or both the engine and Tranny. The spline on both is 10 so I'm thinking it should work the more I think about it but I have a very persitant streak of being wrong.

I am not 100% sure because of the year differences but when I put a 96 XJ 4.0 out of an automatic against my AX-15 I had to change the pilot bearing with sleeve. You might also need a crank position sensor if they bolt in differently. Don't remember about the flywheel--sorry.

No worries haha I'm getting the sensor with all that stuff coming with the engine and I know it mounts to the ax15 because everywhere I read about the 4.0 conversion says That transmission has the mount.
