I have a 94 4.0 and my air filter is full of oil. I got a new one and a new Ccv valve and don't know what this is inside the old one. I don't think that still stuff should be there. Any help appreciated.

If you follow this link to morris 4x4, to the knowledge base you can download a parts manual. The hoses you need are in section 25 figure 420. (pg 907 of 1044).
Ew, I hope it's just steel wool!
There's no metal in your oil, correct?
Maybe a good idea to pull your valve cover, just to safe that there's none in your top end...
True, but not even that "old-school" really,
Well, I guess if you consider the 80's old lol, heck I still remember filling air cleaners with oil (showing my age)
Still, if it was mine,
I'd be pulling the VC,
but then again,
I tend to be overly paranoid about possible debris in an engine...
Shipping is steep but at least you can get the right parts the first time.
