Plz help a electrical ra-tard!

I want to wire in a kill switch into my 91 jeep YJ for added peace of mind when its sitting wide open.

Problem is electrical is rocket science to me.

I have searched and searched and cant find what im looking for.

Can someone tell me which wire from what place i can cut and splice in a kill switch?

basic parts list?

a wiring diagram would be VERY helpful....im a picture learner

Thanks

Do what I do...pop the hood, pull the distributer to coil wire, put in pocket and leave. It ain't gonna start.

Find your Ign wire running to the ign switch and splice it then hook them to a relay then feed the relay with a hot and ground from another source with a toggle switch. Just like wiring up offroad lights. When toggle switch is off the relay is open not allowing power to the switch to crank. When toggle is on then power goes relay closing it allowing power to the switch to crank..
Read the directions on the relay as to which wire goes where..

whatever you do ,do not post up where you put the kill switch. As much as we'd like to believe everyone on these forums are honest, there are still thieves looking everywhere to find out how we defend their attacks and posting that info will only help them hurt you..
