Popping noise steering either way

Just noticed a popping noise coming from my front end when I steer all the way to the left and right but only when it gets to full lock and I am moving it doesn't make a sound when I'm stopped what would cause this I'm running a procomp coil spring conversion everything is tight under there that I can get to or tug on

I would say that its your YJ sobbing because you took away its leaf springs....

But actually it sounds like an axle u-joint going bad if you hear it while turning and moving but not when stopped.

Judging from you avatar pic u have some large tires and if u don't have backspacers they might rub (even with out leaf springs possibly on the frame) To check just turn the wheel al the way and get out and look what might be rubbing
Just a suggestion hope it helps
