Possible blown clutch?

Jeeps been shifting weirdly, hasn't been dropping RPMS for about 3 seconds after shifting, did that for a few days and then after wheelin I was going down the highway, went to shift and the shifter wouldn't budge as if I didn't have the clutch in, I can push the clutch in and move the shifter if the car is off but no other times, I threw it into first turned the car and got rolling but it was as if it was in neutral. Luckily I got a push home from a fellow jeeper who saw me stranded on the highway, does it sound like just the clutch? I have no knowledge on transmissions but that's what I'm hoping it is

Similar thing happen to me and it was a blown slave cylinder. Don't know what year your yj is as some most had internal slaves but the last couple of years were external. If yours is internal like mine, check and see in there is fluid coming out the bellhousing.

Doesnt sound like a "clutch" issue. My guess from what I have been reading is the slave cylinder, hopefully its not internal but if it is grab of case a beer and get ready for a job...

If everything is still original, yours should be external which is great. It's on the side of the tranny and easy to replace without removing anything. They sell a complete sealed kit with master and slave cylinder together with the hose do you don't even need to bleed it.

Oh man.... I know all about that! Replaced my clutch n slave and all that jazz. Slave was defective and it blew up. Had to drop the trans again and get a new one! Not fun...
