First off, I truly appreciate everyone's help the past couple of weeks. I've had all sorts of gremlins pop at once and it's a little overwhelming
The latest issue with my stubborn ol' Jeep is inconsistent starts.
The Jeep is a 1993 2.5/AX-5
Here are the symptoms. The jeep acts like its dead sometimes when going to start it. If I pop the hood and play with the battery cables I can get juice. It won't even take a jump if the cables are in the wrong position.
Here is what I've done:
Battery is 4 months old (Still under warranty)
I have cleaned all corrosion off of the terminals and connections
Starter is 2 months old, starts strong, ground is good
So I have two theories, my battery cables are bad (if so where the heck can I find replacements? I've looked everywhere), or my battery posts are bad in which case Autozone will be giving me a new battery. Anyone care to lend an opinion or some advice?
