Power stearing pump adj. ?

I have a 1990 2.5 liter motor. I cant see where there is any adjustment slot on the power STEERING pump. I am wondering if somebody made a home made set-up on this thing.should there be a slot so you can pivot the pump? Thank you.

If you are talking about tightening the pump in relation to the Fan belt, there is usually a breaker bar (half inch square) insertion point. If it is a serpentine belt it shouldn't adjust at the pump, it would have a tensioner to take up slack.

power steering pump adjustment.

This is a 1990 with a 2.5 four cyl. This has a vee belt set-up. Does anyone have a diagram for this set-up. I am talking about a belt tighting adjustment... Thank you.

Check the bracket under the pump for a jack screw.

tyewilly x2 it's under the pump. you may need a 12mm socket to adjust the jack screw.
