Power steering

Today when replacing all my tie rod ends I noticed my power steering fluid was leaking. When i turn my wheel from side to side you can hear like air in the system and then fluid comes out under the cap. What could be the problem? i am open to any and all comments. I am kind of new with Jeep and I am learning as I go. Please help.

Are you turning the steering wheel or the wheels them selves?

Was the jeep running. Cause if you turned the steering wheel while the jeep was off it will do that. Well mine does any way. But when it's running it's fine.

I was turning the wheels and everything. It was on jack stands.
It was doing it when the motor was running and when it was off.

Oh! That's different from mine. Mine only does it while off. Hey could it be over filled? Just throwing ideas.

So I looked into this and I came up with the hose going into the power steering box was kinked and I think that might have been the problem. Let's hope so
