Bought one of these off Amazon (Dorman). It got here today and I'm planning on putting it in tonight to see if it can remedy the clutch issues I'm having with my 95 2.5L. Anybody had any experience with these? I'm starting small before replacing the whole clutch, by the way.
I've done it, two bolts on the bell housing, two bolts on the firewall. A cotterpin on the clutch pedal. Just make note of how its routed. I came in from the top with the new one. And it aligned perfectly. Just remember don't remove that white retaining strap.
Went in great. Took me about 40 minutes, mainly because we moved recently and I can't find my sockets so I had to use my wrenches! Works perfect, but still having some grinding on my synchros going into second and third. Looks like I'll be doing a clutch soon...
Have you changed the fluid in the transmission....I went with red line mt 90 and it helped.
