PS return hose

Anyone know where i can find one of those besides ordering from the dealer? i can only find them for years 91 and up and i have a 1990 with a 4.2l. It had a hole (looks like previous owner tried tightening it and twisted the actual tubing) on the metal tubing on the first bend from the steering box. I cut it from there and ran a pressure hose from there to the power steering pump. I don't think its going to hold that long. Its only a temporary solution till i can find one.

Thanks in advance.
Phil

the return hose shouldnt have much pressure on it at all. rubber tubing is probably plenty good for a long term solution. but i'll look around and see if i can find what you want

i just checked a couple of parts house sites and all of them just sell a length of hose rubber hose for the return hose and they all say "cut to fit" the pressure side is the one that needs a custom hose to hold the pressure.

Advance Auto Parts: Power Steering Return Hose

just go to advance auto or napa and ask them for PS return hose, it's probably steel reinforced on the inside.

hmmm, besides the dealer, you could probably find a hydraulic shop in town that would make you one.
