Question about full Steel doors for my YJ

I found a set of full doors for my YJ for $200.00. They are complete doors & everything works fine, the catch is they are painted with bedliner paint. Does anyone know if that stuff is sandable & would $200.00 be a good price? Thanks

indeed.

I drove 6 hours one day (round trip) to pick up a set of YJ doors for $200. They needed mirrors, some rust fixed up and I had to weld a crack in one of them. I still got a steal on 'em at $200. Oh and 1 was missing the door handle.

Grinder with those plastic wheels...cant remember what they are called...sanding disks or something like that..on the contact surface it looks like really thick sand paper......takes paint, rust and pretty much anything right off without digging holes like grinding disks do...

You can use a grinder with a wire wheel on it also, but I recomend doing it out side cause you will spend more time with a broom then the grinder

Perfect! Thanks for the info... I went and picked them up last night. They were in perfect working order, the only thing missing was the locks, even had mirrors & all the seals were in great shape!
