Question about VIN and Build Sheet

I was on the Islander thread on the YJ Forum and someone mentioned that you can get a build sheet showing the equipment your YJ came with originally. I was curious to find out about my gas tank, because apparently you could get, as an option, a 20 gallon tank. My build sheet shows that my YJ came with a 15 gallon tank, but under "Optional Equipment" it lists
"9 Additional Gallons of Gas". Does anybody know what that means? I almost positive I don't have a 24 gallon gas tank........

I went to do it 2 my 95 2.5 yesterday & it was a 20 gallon setup already. I guess my fuel gage does work, but I thought the yjs with a 4.0 came with the 20 gal set up & the 2.5 came with the 15 gal

I was kidding about 24 gallons, I actually think it is 15. I just don't understand the extra nine gallons on the options sheet.

it means the factory put 9 gallons in when it left the lot. sometimes they have to fill it back up if it had lots of test drives and stuff.
