Question regarding lifts

My brother is wanting to get a lift and tires soon. He has less than $1000 to spend, and wants to do a budget build. Either 31's or 32's, and 1 or 2 inches of lift. i told him a one inch body and 31's would probably be perfect. i know people dont like body lifts a lot, but would a 2 inch body lift be ok for 32's or whould he get an add a leaf system? Would I have to adjust anything like the transmission/shifter/radiator support with a 2 inch body lift?

Tell him to look into a Rough Country lift kit with new springs. The 2" and 4" are the same price ($449). I am running the 4" lift with 31s and I am very happy with the ride and look of the Jeep. The kit comes with everythign needed from shocks to U-bolts and if going for 4", a transfer case drop.

the rc 3.25" kit is under $400 and you can get a set of treadwright 31" tires for about 350...

A 2" body lift requires mods to radiator shroud, it's a pain in the ##. and/or a radiator drop kit, more money to spend. Go with a spring lift.
