was reading a couple posts about this just wanted to make sure...
when there is heavy rain i get a leak behind my dash somewhere above my radio, since radio gets wet. which isn't good.
1st thing i did was check and make sure that the drain in engine compartment was clean & clear which it is. then decided to remove the 8 screws from cowl on top of hood. that way can make sure it looks clean & nothing cloging it from top. which it looked fine.
i decide while it was off to dump a quart, or so, of water in there just to check. and sure enough water came out through drain then i looked inside and noticed that floor had a decent abount of water on it.
i saw some said to replace seal, is there something else i maybe missing or just go w/ seal, i didnt dump water over hood i put it straight into open area once cover was removed.
thanks in advance.

If you poured it directly into the Air intake on the hood, it shouldn't be the cowl molding. Not that that wouldn't a good replacement in general. It almost sounds like you have a partial clog in your drain or you have a hole in the air system somewhere. Or the air system has a bad seal on it.
i've been having this same problem and when i took my dash apart it turns out that the part of my air system that delivers air to the defroster looked like a plastic bag that had been mauled by a cat. so you could have a leak in a vent or some part of your air system like the defroster or air condtioning if you've got that. just a suggestion. i'm whipping out the duct tape and taking care of that problem once and for all.
