Have a Pioneer radio in my 89 that needs to go. Looking for what's gonna be the best radio for my money. Not looking to spend a lot but want one that has a usb and aux port.
E-mail or call Pioneer. Ask for a wire diagram. The diagram will identify a 12V. constant hot on the radio harness. Use your test light to identify a Jeep wire where the two harnesses come together that is hot with the key off. Connect these two wires and that should solve your problem. Good Luck, L.M.
The wire you hooked them up to is only for ignition. Either you're missing a connection, or you need to run a new wire to the ignition harness or fuse block for a constant source.
