Radio Antenna question.

Since I have put the aux lights on my YJ by the windshields the radio antenna is beating on it loudly as I go over rough roads. I know there is a 13" replacement rubber antenna however I read it hurts the reception (I am in a rural area). Next I thought of a ball or rubber hose.
Anybody else had this problem and what did you do.

Thanks
Roger

I moved both of my antennas, radio and cb, to the rear. Easy to do just need a radio cable extension.

I slipped a piece of clear hose over mine. Worked like a charm.
