Looks like you'll be going with the Rancho no matter what. Should change the shocks too. TC drop if needed. You'll know once you drive it with the lift on. Probably need to adjust your draglink to put the steering wheel back to center.
Same install as any other lift.
Normal tools for this type of job...ratchets, sockets, wrenches, BFH...you know the deal.
Mapp Gas Turbo Torch to heat up stuck nuts/bolts.
Probably want to invest in an angle grinder if you don't have one to cut any stubborn bolts.
Plenty of PB Blaster.
Should be no more than a weekend taking your time.
