RC or RE?

Looking into putting a 2 inch lift on my jeep to make sure i have plenty of room to clear the 31's i just put on my jeep. I'm looking into either the RC 2" with lift shackles and all upgraded parts or the 2.5" RE kit and then debate if i want the shackles, thought and opinions/ experiences fosure needed. thanks

There is a big difference in the price and quality of the two. HAve you looked at the Zone lifts? They are much better quality springs than RC, and probably as good or better than the newer RE springs. Mine rides great

I htought so too. They are kinda new for the YJ. BDS makes the springs. I got my 2" for just a few more bucks than the RC 2.5. I got about 2 1/2" of lift out of it, maybe a little more. There are several companys in the vendor section on this site that sell them. I got mine from www.jeepaddons.com and called the #. They didn't list it, but they got it to me in 2 days

I know its a 4", but I've had good luck with Rusty's parts. I've been a Rusty's customer for over 12 years.

I'd go 4 inch but I just put 31's on my jeep and don't want to do SYE or a regear yet

That is a HUGE difference! Thats like saying should I buy a 10yr old BMW or a 2yr old BMW. I would also look at Zone lifts. Its made by BDS and I have heard nothing but good things.

As I look up I see people have already said Zone! Here is the link.

I have the RE 2.5 kit with the extended shackles, extended stainless braided brake lines, swaybar discos. you will yield over 3 inches of lift. Mine settled in at about 3.25" total over the past 2 years. Plenty of room for 31's. Pics with 31's for ya on mine before I went to 33's and 1 inch body lift.
