rear diff help please

am changing rear fluid of diff and have a prob
only place to put fluid back in it is on cover but it has a nut and washer inside of pan is a rubber stop that bolt goes through if i take nut off rubber stop falls in on gear hoe do i add fluid

1993 wrangler 4.0 auto

get a new rubber plug, then pull the cover. install new gasket or rtv bolt back together add oil. put in new plug. done.

someone took out plug and put in some wierd crap got it figured out though thanks
