rear track bar

Whats my rear track bar for it goes from my frame to the axle i wanna remove it cuz the mount for it to the axle is broken and i keep welding it and shit keeps breaking. Gunna give it one last patch job but i rather remove it. What will happen to my lil jeep
Its a 91 2.5 wrangler no lift just engine work

Ditch the damn thing!

Track bar doesn't do a thing for a YJ. On a TJ you gotta have it.

yeah i dont have my front or rear trac bars. there pretty pointless. theres not really any other vehicles that have them. not even full size truck. chrysler added them to the yj , stating that the helped reduce body roll. i dont notice a diffrence and thats what the sway bar is for on the street. ditch it. im keeping mine for soa lift incase of spring wrap, ill turn it into a traction bar

It's been gone over and over in this forum: track bars are useless, pointless, extra weight. Get rid of them and enjoy extra flex and a better ride.
