RED Vac line not connected 90 yj 4cyl

Hello all Just purchased a 1990 YJ for my son and we have been working on it and found the 4wd will not work. After looking at all of the great POSTs I found that my Red Vac line is not connected. Where is a good vac hookup?
I can't find a open connection for it. should I buy a t-valve to splice it in to a vac connection? Also the Blue Vac line is not connected.. But that’s normal.
Where Exactly where do I hook up the red vac line. I have a Wrangler 1990 YJ . 4.2 6cyl.
Thanks in advance ! Love the Jeep thing !!!

my recommendation is to get the posi-lock its not too expensive and gives u a 2-lo option and only takes like 30 min to install it overides the vac system and u really never have to worry about losing your four wheel drive

here is the link to the posi lock..Search Results by 4 Wheel Drive Hardware.. and yes it eliminates the vac system which when u engage ur 4 wheel drive moves ur shift fork and engages ur front driveshaft. with the posi lock it looks like an ejection button that sits inside, (i mounted mine to the dash down by my left knee) and instead of the vac system pushing and pulling the posi lock pushes and pulls the shift fork into position. It's more than worth the money I would recommend it to anyone still using the stock vac system. I actually pulled all my vac lines out and plugged them. So it also cleaned a lot of the clutter up in my jeep.

I have the posi lock "ejection button" but really not sure if its hooked up right or at all. It was there when I bought the jeep. Any advice?

I would just pull off the housing and check the fork and Eclips inside the housing. When u have it off engage the posi lock and when u do the closest e clip to the posi lock should butt all the way against the housing if it doesn't then just tighten the housing untill it does. u can google the installation instructions and it'll explain all that. When I was done I put my jeep on a swing arm lift and engaged it to see if it worked. Hope this helped. Also I think posi lock "ejection button" is very fitting lol.
