Wow, this 4 banger runs good. Had to replace a couple ideler pulleys .Im just glad I got a decent short block.
I did notice something , that a 97 wrangler has different motor mounts.they sit a little lower in the frame .dose any body make solid motor mounts for these?

I took a chance ,didnt change any bearings, shame on me .but got a total of 12 miles on it, everything is good. going to find another engine to rebuild completely to have on hand.this jeep isnt going anywhere, waited to long to get another one . Its kind a easy to change an engine in a jeep, you dont even have to remove the hood and Im am just a old dumb body man.

After cleaning whole engine out with kerosene check bearinigs on rods and nice and snug.Opted to save some money and time ,needed jeep now.so put engine in ,crossed fingers .seems to be fine .55lbs oil pressure temp about 190 no noise and a tone of power.for a 4 banger
