Removing 95 YJ Under Dash Bulbs

Probably a very simple answer...I cannot get the under dash bulb out. The bulb broke off. Does it twist or pop out? Also cannot determine replacement bulb now that original is in pieces.

Any suggestions?

push it in and twist it with a flat head. i broke mine too but i ended up replacing it with led footwell strips anyways. as for bulb size im sure you can google that. seemed to be a generic autozone one

The bulb number is on the base not the glass.
