whats a good air cleaner to get for 258 six cylinder with the bdd carb either new or junkyard . Doing the nutter bypass and eliminating a lot of useless vacuum lines and want to get rid of the stock air cleaner and its housing

I don't know why you want to change your air filter, but a lot of filters from old Chrysler Products like Dodge and Plymouth will fit on to your Stock Carb., from a Junk Yard. 60s, 70s, 80s, that was the Stock Carb. for a lot of 318s and 360s!
The original BBD Carter 2 barrel with one rebuild. A friend who builds racing carbs. rebuilt it for me 4yrs. ago. I don't know exactly what he did but it runs perfect, complete with the original stepper motor and emissions set up. Since I have no reason to change it or "upgrade" I haven't. Unfortunately, I don't think this is the norm.
