Reverse lights

Anyone know which circuit reverse lights are on? I put on diamond plate corners today had to cut my drivers side tail light wires because couldn't get to connector. And no the reverse lights don't work. Not sure of fuse or back up switch.

You sure it is not the ground? If I remember correctly, which I may not, I think the whole tail light housing is the ground which can cause problems if you switch the style. It has been a year since I did mine so I dont remember 100% As far as the switch, that is on the side of the transmission and can be tested with a wire. The lights themselves are just another fuse.

Yeah I know it's grounded good and you are correct on the grounding portion because tail lights and brake lights work as they should. How does one test the switch?

Yes I swapped bulbs haha had some extra ones here from when I replaced them about 3-4 weeks ago. They worked prior to putting these panels on and the taillights work fine so the housings are grounded out.

Has not. Not sure how to check my reverse sensor either. And no parts store has record of me buying it. Which is weird.

Well that doesn't help much.... Retrace your steps. If all you did was cut wires and reattach, makes me want to think that it is something on the light end... Idk tho

Sounds like a possible pinched or broken wire to me

Yeah I have taken light off numerous times since then. I have redone wire connectors again. And it doesn't work on either side which I find odd.
