My Jeep came with Cragers and 10.5X31" AT's. I now have 12.5X33" Crushers on it. When the tires were being swapped I never thought to check the rim width. I see these come 7, 8, or 10" wide. I really doubt I can get an accurate measurement with them on the Jeep. My questions is, how big of a difference does this make? Also, say I have all 10" wide and I go get an 8" wide and mount the same tire on it, would it ride funny or anything? This is an area I do not know about, so help would be appreciated. It is time for me to get a spare, so I need to order a new rim. I was hoping maybe there is a stamp on the rim somewhere?

It may seem a little bouncier since the tire with be ballooned out more. You most likely have an 8" rim because they are most common, and a 10" rim is not good for the 10.50 tires you had. Also, a narrower rim will maker it harder for the tire to break the bead and come off the rim.
92 YJ, 4.0, D44/60, 5" BDS springs rear, SOA front, 1" booms, 1" BL, 35x12.50x15 MTZ's, 4.10 gears. It's never done though.
