Rust...

Ok, so I'm 17 and I just bought a 94 jeep wrangler. It has rust problems all over the bottom and it's starting one hole, as far as I can tell its just one. The hole is about the width of my thumb. I was wondering how or if I can stop the rest of the bottom from rusting further and if I can patch the hole somehow without needing to cut a chunk out of the floor. Once again I'm 17 with low funds for now and low skills with cars to match. Plz help, I'm scared that the hole will get bigger, thanks.

Grinder (HF $20) with wire wheel ($12) SAFETY GLASSES. WHERE HEAVY GLOVES ($4) with the Rust Convertor! ($20). Clean up the loose rust, use the Rust Convertor, use a bed liner or paint.
I used the rust Convertor on a snow mobile trailer in WI where there is heavy salt use. It literally changes the rust to a hard paintable surface.

Ok I put three rust pictures up on the exterior part of the garage thing because I wasn't sure how to post pic's on the post. There are some pretty big chips and one big hole in the bottom, and the hole on the inside is small but I can tell it will get bigger

I looked at your pics. I definitely clean up the loose rust. Then coat it all with the Rust Convertor to stop it from spreading. Use EYE and SKIN Protection it's some very serious stuff. One more thing based on the amount of rust you have I'd take your Jeep your Jeep to the car wash and seriously rinse out the frame rails. Then get some convertor on the frame...

Look in to POR15 as well. It is designed to paint over rusty metal and keep it from rusting further. Again...nasty stuff. I didn't listen and had black hands for two weeks.
