Seat dye

Anyone ever try dying your stock seats? I know you can do it I just want to know how well it held up and how long it's lasted. I do run topless during the summer so it will get some water and sun. If anyone has done this please tell me what is you to prep and how it's lasted thanks.

I did the vinyl and fabric paint on the rear seat. the seat was nasty and I couldn't see spending 200 or more on a new one. Scrubbed it with simple green washed it let it dry and did two or three coats of the paint and it came out great! It's only been half a year but its holding up so far even throwing stuff on it and all.

Used Dupli-Color® Vinyl & Fabric paint and it worked great, Black over Tan took about a can and a half!
