Shackle bolts

My shackle bolts are torqued down to I don't remember, about 100 pds.
I've been reading that that's too tight, they should be loosened enough to be able to move (swing) when pushing up and down on the frame.
They don't move now. Should I loosen them?

Yeah man go ahead and re-torque them down. I guess most would say 45-60 ft-lbs. The shackle needs to be able to move freely when the springs flex. You'll notice a big difference when you do so give it a try it's a real easy fix.
