shackle fitment

These are new shackles bought on eBay. I have decided not to lift my 1979 Jeep CJ. They are 2 and 3/8 inches with 7and1/2 inches from bolt center to bolt center. From center to bolt they are 3&1/2 inches. The center support is 1/2 inch thick. These will fit more Jeeps and other vehicles so please measure your shackle before you bid.

I think they should fit right? the 2 3.8ths is the hole size? Would it fit my 95 yj?

cj shackles and leaf springs are narrower than yj. cj shackles will not work on a yj

3" is pretty excessive for shackles anyway, your springs would be crying, and sag pretty bad anyway, and it changes the geometry.

whats your next idea?
