shackle question

has anyone used revolver shackles and a shackle reversal? is it possible?

why? Revolver shackles are a "no, no" if it will driven on the road alot.

What else is gonna be thrown into this combo? lift, tires, etc...?

its only used for offroad only. its got 34 10.50's on it. 4 inch rough country lift. it's my friends jeep and he was wondering about the shackle reversal with revolvers. i just want to know if anyone tried it and if it worked. thanks in advance

I think I have seen pictures of this set up before and it just doesn't look right to me. When the shackle unloads it really makes for funky angles on the drive shaft when the shackles are on the other end. I have no personal experience, this is just an observation.

If he wants better flex, just get a new lift....

Rough country blows you'll never get the flex you want no matter what you do with those springs

don't do it, you will be blowing u joints every time it flexes. only do one or the other.
