Question Shifting issues... in morning?

Lately my 1993 YJ 4.0 6I 5 speed Jeep has been having issues with shifting in the morning... i don't know why its just having issues in the morning but it is extremely hard to shift into second and fourth and down shift into third... any ideas what the hell is going on?

I have the same issues, excepth with just 1st and 2nd. Once the oil warms up it seems fine. I just try to match the engine rpm to the next gear before putting into gear.

It just the way they are when it gets cold in the morning, mine takes a good bit of effort over normal to go through the first couple gear changes when its cold out.

Gear oil is thicker when its cold, as it warms up it becomes thiner making it easier to shift.
