shifting troubles with my yj

I was driving my yj up on really bumpy terrain and noticed my manual shift kept slipping out of the downward gears (2,4,R), every time I let off the accelerator it pops out, every down gear is stiff to slide into?
Any advice???

Do you have a body lift? Your shifter may be hitting the lower part of your shift tunnel, you might have to open it up a little so it goes completely in gear...
