sift motor ??????????

i just want to know if the sift motor needs like and oil in it when i put it back on and if so what do u pore in

shift motor on the front axle..... i put oil in mine when i rebuilt the front axle. it was kinda tricky to do. theres a little screw (looks almost like set screw) up near the top of the shift motor on the back side. it comes out. then i took the bottle of gear oil and put a cap on it with a spout instead of just a regular bottle cap. then take some clear tubing that will fit in the hole at the shift motor and attach to the cap on the bottle and fill it that way. but i think it may just fill up anyways when you pour into the diff. not sure. but i know that the axle oil seal is outboard of the shift motor so i would only assume it should have oil in it. hope this was all understandable
