Soa & 8.8

Ok so i just picked up an 8.8 out of an explorer and going to slowly start building it and buying all the necessary parts to perform the conversion and SOA. I know a ton of people have done this and probably have a forum for it already but i couldnt find exactly what i was looking for. Here is a list that i can think of. (By the way i was a retard and posted this in the TJ thread) DUH!!

1. Conversion Kit from M.O.R.E
2. 4:88 Gears for 35" Tires
3. Slip Yoke Eliminator?
4. Some Kind of locker not sure yet. (Cheap and Reliable)
5. CV Drive Shaft (Front and Rear or just Rear?) (And What Size)
6. E-Brake Cable for YJ.
7. New pads and Rotors.

Please let me know if i am missing something and possibly the best and cheapest place to get these parts from. And any input or things to watch out for would be greatly appreciated.

That's a good start. I'm runnin the same setup - 8.8 w SOA. I'm also runnin the Superior "Super 88" kit (no c-clips) and I had Currie weld the axle tubes (i heard they have the possibility of spinning on the diff - not wure how easily, but I'm sort of a freak and I'd rather not find out).

You might find this link helpful. I sure did.

I just sold a YJ that had the same set up, 35's, 8.8, SOA. The only thing that I would suggest is some type of anti-axlewrap bar. There were a few times where I romped on the gas and caught good traction and the pinion shot straight up and snapped the ears off the yoke.

Im kinda new to the jeeping world but really enjoying the challenges but i quickly noticed i need them.
