soft doors with softtoper

Has anyone used upper soft doors with the frameless softtoper top. Wondering how well they would work, thinking about getting some for the summer

I got a set of crappy upper hard doors. Full doors would b nice but I prefer the versatility of half doors in the spring and summer, plus I think they look better with the softop

I have half doors with the soft tops. They are loud on the freeway and they don't stay tight at speed. Hard to operate unless you are completely stopped. Wish I had something more solid. But they are light weight and easy to tuck away when you hit the trail.

Got pic's? I will take some of mine. If u can get a set slider windows you could make a set of upper doors like mine. All they are is a flat 1/4 inch thick fiber glass with a slider window painted with bed liner. They are pro built but could b easily coppied. I've seen a set on ebay. They didn't come with the origional mounting hardware. So I had 2 make it work, they do but not well. I finaly got a welder so here soon I'm going to rebuild it.

There's 2 dif ones, u will prob need to adjust ur upper doors and they should work a lot better. You adjust them by bending the in to give u a tighter fit I can't explain how I've neved done it

Ya I stood them up on the ground next to each other and they we not even close to matcing each other. I will post picks as I rebuild them I prob won't start on them for another month or so, my big prob is that I don't have a hardtop to fit them too so I will have to do the best I can. I know my drivers side one is the right shape but the pass side is like a half an inch or so shorter

Do you have any pics? Do you have the orgional mounting hardware, I would like to see how it worked so I can start rebuilding mine, I have a plan that should make it pretty sturdy but will take a lot of work.

I don't have the original hardware it did when i got it but the clips where they screwed into the door were broken. So I rigged it and I think my ex threw out the pins on one of her crazy garage cleaning sprees.
