soft top help asap!

Trying to put my soft top on for the first time. What the hell does this bar hook.to? It has two little spring loaded " stops" but i cant figure out where to put it too. There is a velcro.wrap and a hard rubber. Piece between it and the bar going to.the windshield rail. Please help asap i really dont want the wife to get home and make.fun of me lol

You should have a plate that is bolted inbetween the roll cage arm and the windshield. On this plate is a hole where a quick release fastener goes through the end of that floppy arm u got there and the bracket. I will take a picture of mine 2morrow to show you.

Ya know i only had the soft top on one day. I purchased the jeep last fall and the next day i got a hardtp and now that you mention it i kinda remember a tab on the corners. Anyone have any idea where i put it? Lol. Anyway if you post the pictures itd help me have a clue what im looking for.

Well where the big bar meets the windshield on each side, undu the torx screws which u can see in my pic and the thin bracket sides inbetween and u bolt it back up. Then the hole should be sticking out for u to put the quick release in.

Actually one other question. The bar thats across the top of the tailgate; does it have anything that holds it.onto the jeep except pressure? I.know slides into the tabs on the curved pieces of the " body cap rail" ( sorry im sure there is a better term for this stuff but i dont see any screws or anything.
