Soft top questions

So it is time for a new top. The top I have now is made by pavement ends but has got to be the biggest piece of junk I have ever seen. It doesn't fit very well, the zipper on the passenger rear window has already broke. This top is less than a year old too.

My question is, what top should I get? I dont want to spend a lot of money but I know its gonna be between 300-450 bucks. Should I look at the Bestop replace a tops? The rugged ridge ones? Rampage tops?

Thanks in advance.

I got a rampage products...mostly because I needed new software so I was limited on money. I can't compare because it is my first jeep but I am pleased with the product. Plus it was cheaper than the best top by quiet a bit. Zippers all work well and everything seems to fit properly

Even though Bestop is the most expensive, you get what you pay for. It's the best on the market. I had one last me 7 years and my Jeep sits outside in Ohio everyday.

Best tops the way to go... It's good quality and lasts along time and if by some reason you do get wear on it they will replace it for free

Should I just go with the Bestop Replace a top? Th supertop with new hardware is out of my budget. It's almost $900 with shipping and all

Why not get a frameless soft top. I have a best top and would prefer a frameless myself since I have the family style roll cage.

If you're trying to get the best bang for your buck, I recommend the Bestop Replace a Top. If your hardware is in good shape, why spend an extra $200 for something that you really don't need.

We can get you an awesome price on this top, or any top you have in mind. Just let me know what you decide on and I'll gladly help out!

I just replaced the sunrider on my yj a few weeks ago. That top was awesome. I could go from full top and windows to topless in a matter of minutes. The windshield header was held down with 2 twist locking things. It was worn out so I got a Softoper. And it's pretty awesome too. I would suggest going one of these two routs. GL.
